Meet Michelle Leibrock
Michelle will be offering her new class for FREE
September 9 and September 16!
harmonious HATHA Wednesdays 10:00 - 11:15 pm
Michelle uses clean and concise cueing of classical yoga to help students increase strength and flexibility along with incorporating breathwork into each class to calm the mind and reduce stress.
Please welcome our recent addition to our group of exceptional teachers at the Shala, Michelle Leibrock. She will be teaching our newly added class on Wednesday mornings harmonious HATHA at 10:00 am.
Michelle's HATHA class will benefit all levels of practice; beginners are welcomed and will flourish. This safe, supportive, exploratory class perfectly balances strength, flexibility, and the breath while playing in yoga postures that open the body, increase stamina, improve balance, and provide a positive sense of well being.
Props, visuals, and careful directions are offered to deepen ones understanding of the subtle aspects of the practice. Modifications and advancements are offered in every class allowing the practice to provide the full benefit of the postures and to support progress in one's yoga practice.
Michelle, RYT 200, has been practicing yoga for twelve years. She pursued yoga teacher training with the intention of deepening her own practice, both physically and spiritually. Through the training she found great joy in bringing yoga to caregivers and others who thought yoga was inaccessible to them.
Her desire to make yoga accessible to everyone led her to Curvy Yoga certification to learn modifications for bigger bodies. She is currently enrolled in the first 300 hour phase of therapeutic yoga training through Surya Chandra Healing Yoga School. She completed her 200 hour teacher certification at Focus Yoga and is a registered teacher with Yoga Alliance.
